You cannot go past the wonderful service, the waitresses and Emmy, until the food comes. It is fantastic! Our table had beef, perfectly cooked with wonderfully flavoured purees, mushrooms with foie grais then the special of the day, a bar cod with fennel and kingsfish sides, just magic.

The ambience is great, feeling initmate but not stuffy. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and funny, topped off by the wonderful food. Have been 3 times before with same results. Zippos becomes a staple in our best restaurants for a great night out.

If you live in locally you can't go past this restaurant. The food and service and price is excellent. Thanks to Kyle the chief and Emmy and all the staff for making my husbands birthday so special especially the dessert where Kyle prepared the most spectacular dessert at our table. There is no need to travel into Sydney CBD to look for fine dining, it's finally here.

My husband and I are regulars at Zippo's. The menu is fabulous with a great choice on offer, chef Kyle really knows how to present his dishes in an outstanding fashion. The new wine list is very pleasing. The decor is beautiful yet relaxed and comfortable not to mention spacious.

Now for the service, above and beyond expectation. From the warm welcome by Nick and Emmy to the superb service by all staff. Fine dining never gets better. Whether it is a special occasion dinner or a relaxed Sunday lunch overlooking the water, this is the place to go. Well done Zippo's!

We went to Zippo's after hearing from friends that it was a nice place to go for a meal and we were happy to discover that all the glowing reviews are right on the money!

With a great selection of yum entree's it was hard for us to decide what to have. I had the devil soft shell crab and prawns which was crisp and tasty without being too oily or salty. My husband has the Oxtail soup which sounded a bit bland to me but was so delicious with its subtle broth and homemade tortellini.

Our mains of linguini with seafood and eye fillet were sensational and faultless as well as our dessert of cherry ripe bombe. The staff are friendly, entertaining, well trained and easy to talk to. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and not sterile and bustling like some restaurants. We had a wonderful night and will surely be back for several more visits.

Zippos is definitely one of the best restaurant I have been to. Food is delicious, I love devil prawns and suggest the snapper with asian greens. Seafood in general is amazing. Not a big fan of oysters but I ate an half dozen here! They have a good dessert menu as well, could not decide and had the chocolate cake, was to die for, but looking forward to trying something else.

Ambience is simple and sophisticated at the same time, good lighting, not too noisy, in line with the tone of the place. Service is just brilliant, staff is attentive without being overwhelming, and they give suggestions without being pushy.
Can't wait to have dinner there again.

We have been visiting the bistro upstairs since it opened and it consistently serves the most delicious meals and great service. The bar staff and kitchen staff are professional and courteous and the atmosphere is always friendly. We love the choice of indoor and outdoor seating and dining areas which are comfortable and well maintained. With great views and reasonable prices, Club Blakehurst is one of the best little clubs around.

I'm glad to say that Zippo's restaurant has re-opened now, following the fire that has seen it closed for some time. The food here is really great, I'm especially fond of the pork belly, its really something else. The quality and freshness of the food is outstanding, and the menu is contemporary, fresh, and imaginative. I was there just before the grand reopening last Wednesday, and was pleasantly surprised with the new decore, which is top notch, and the view which is as good as ever. A great place with great food and great atmosphere!
